That ish was SWEET! Finally something to really be excited about. New guy seems to have a history with Soul Edge. Maybe it's a shaven Edge Master? Looks like we're getting more of a look at some cutscenes and the theatrics look great. And yes we all know it means nothing if the gameplay sucks so no one after me better say that or you'll make X cry.

That trailer was very well done, gorgeous graphics, and I even like the way the SC4 title screen looked at the end, I hope it actually stays like that in the game. I also hope the sound for Kilik's finisher stays the way it was in this trailer cuz that sounded boss! What the hell is Maxi doing with souledge? That shit better transform into some nunchunks in his hand or something, I can't see that man using a sword.

Edgardo was a new character that they were working on for SCIII, he got scrapped because they didn't have time to finish him.

Could it be the prince/king who fought using Soul Edge, according to the SC3 backstory?

Definitely liking the look of it, but again too much of the gameplay zoomed by too fast to get a good look at it. But it's definitely going to be a cool game from a cinema perspective.

Upon closer inspection, that new guy in white hair form has a really nasty gash on the inside of his left arm with what looks like maggots crawling in it, gross.

I guess he might be some guy from soul calibur history brought back to life or undead or whatever.

Also I didn't notice earlier that Yoda sort of rides Astaroth's axe in that clip. rofl.

That phenoix cry with Kiliks finisher was SoooooO very sexy. I watched it like 3 times just to watch that part again.



I'm liking where this project is going. I really don't see how they could spend this much time on georgeous graphics and whatnot if they planned on half-assing the gameplay. I really can't. It would be a TOTAL waste, cuz this game graphics/music score wise is shaping up to be on another level. Especially for 3D fighters. This makes VF5 look average...and I never thought i'd say that. Time to upgrade to 1080i
