Well as you can see I got a new gamin monitor and speakers.

Missin mich as she was my SC partner...

Tour de France starts today (Lance's last) so will keep an eye on that.

Kinda sad bein by myself though.

Didn't do too good, tired.
But good to get some games in.

Sometimes no one's online; I guess in those timez I should prac against the AI on Edgemaster as it kicks my butt (it'll help me get used to the charas moves).

Busy!

Got my Tour de France t-shirt today.
Ordered a Livestrong one too- money goes to Cancer victims.

Rode 32 km and the temp is about the same.
Ordered new rear cogs (rear gears) for my bike- 15 yrs and it's time to replace em (the new chain is skippin).

Gonna meet a Canadian playa tom.
Since they are stayin in Shinjuku will prob go to the Club Sega there.
May hit MIYAVI's.
Hope to hit Aki too.
oosaka said Try (3rd Fl) is havin a comp (Ura Tougeki) in 4 games from 12 tom: Outfoxies, Samurai Showdown, Bishi Bashi Champ and Street Fighter 2 Rainbow.
We may stop by Try to say hi.

On Fri me, oosaka, sousuhi, Nishoba (Ralph) and Michang (Apprentice, hope he's usable cause MIYAVI don't like SW, haha) will hit MIYAVI's for a MGN (MIYAVI Game Night) from 6. I will prob have to leave early (maybe around 9) cause I have work Sat but oosaka and company will prob stay longer.

Met Emlarr today.

Showed her Shinjuku Club Sega and Yodobashi.

We then hit Aki. Went to Try (met oosaka) and saw the retro games.

Ate at Pepper Lunch.

Went to both Club Segas- got my butt kicked in SCIIIAE (we both don't know all the moves).

Saw Aki Yodobashi and saw some figure shops in Radio Kaikan.

Hit MIYAVI's were I lost more but got a round on MIYAVI.

Emlarr beat MIYAVI once, and had some 2-2s. Her X is good!

They got some SSFIV in at MIYAVI's as well.

Pretty good day but Talim a little sad about losin so much...
Maybe I always lose to pretty girls? (well MIYAVI ain't a girl though).

Made plans for Fri at MIYAVI's- we're gonna take a 360 so we can have 2 machines goin. I'll take a 360 stick (left my PS3 stick there) and JP playas will bring a monitor, 360 and another stick.

I bought a Mad Catz fightpad today for when pad playas come over my house.

A JP play is thinkin of goin to the next comp in France, will contact Malek to see if there's any info on it.

MIYAVI's tom- me and maybe about 6 Japanese playas will hit his place with a 360 in tow (to add to his PS3).
I'll prob stay till 9 (work Sat) and they may stay till around (11:30).

My 360 died- no video so it'll take a trip to Bic Camera on Sat after work.

Just got back from our first MGN (MIYAVI Game Night) and it was great.

Someone bought a monitor so we had PS3 and 360 games goin side by side.

oosaka (Maxi), Sousuhi (Cass), Nishoba (Ralph), Mochi A (Mitsu) and Michang (Apprentice) showed up. SK (Asta) maybe came later.

I had to leave early cause I have work tom but they were expectin to play till almost midnight.

Rundown
MIYAVI's Mitsu beatin oosaka' Maxi.
MIYAVI losin some to Nishoba's Ralph (went back and forth).
MIYAVI at first losin to Michang's Apprentice but after he figured it out (hadn't played against Apprentice before) he was winnin.
Gen's Cass put up a good fight against MIYAVI's Sophie but sister S won.
oosaka said I improved- I got some rounds on his Maxi! YAY Talim!

Tomorrow MIYAVI's Yun friend will roll into town for about a month.

After my last week of work next week there WILL be more MGNs.

I think the timin will be tight; I'll have to test it.

Took my 360 to Bic Camera today- it said it may take about 3 weeks and 14,070 Yen (MS has a flat rate for any repair).

Since I was told that sucked (thanks mich!) I called up Bic and canceled.
Ordered a NEW 2009 360 Arcade from Amazon JP for 19,839 Yen (I'll get HDMI out which I don't have and another pad).

Ya, I'll/we'll always be playin.

Maxi got ripped in SCIV (and oosaka said I'm gettin better)- before I couldn't even win rounds on oosaka, now I can.

Ya oosaka's still good- he's probably the best Maxi in Japan.

Well prac up and if you get over here we'll play.

My 360 should arrive tom or I guess now it's today, haha.
I'll have to move my licenses over, plug in my HD and should be in business.

Got some answers/more info (thanks oosaka!):
There's no set times for comps- when everyone gets together you can have/make one.
You can play any game you want/bring.
We should bring our own food/drink.
The BBQ isn't at a restaurant- I think food will be provided and we BBQ it ourselves.
The entry price includes a single room (on their HP it says a single room is 3,600 Yen)- cause we're playin for 24 hrs this time!

They will have food to BBQ so we just have to split the cost (maybe around 3,000 Yen).
Bring your own food and drink in any case. The place has a restaurant but there may not be much around there.

Got my new Hori (gotta change the buttons and ball).

Rode >30km.

Played a US Talim playa from 8WR last night. Kinda fun but 3 bar action.
Wanna get some 5 bar action (did beat a level 200 something in Ranked last night) but eyes or me in general are tired at night (when everybody's on).
Will get on when I can.

Looks like MGN#2 is 5:30-11:30.

Got to play some games/talk to Setsuna today.
He's 90% on bein at TN.

The TGN BBQ will be from 7PM-9PM.

Love my new Hori- The hand placement is better than the Mad Catz.
The buttons have disconnects and there is enough clearance so don't need to worry about when you change em. buttons.

6 Phillip's screws are holdin the top on.

Construction seems a little cheap- the sticker on the top is doesn't stay down, and the headphone jack isn't straight.
The wiring in the Mad Catz looks cleaner/neater.

Cyclin- 30km yesterday for a total of 90km this week! yay.

Last night got me and the Japanese playas- oosaka (Maxi), kilomilli (Amy), Blindraven (Hilde), Milan (Sig), Michan (Ralph) and Nishoba (Apprentice) over to the French playas 'villa'- MIYAVI (main is Cass) and Yota (Yun w/some Liz).

Gettin more people every time! haha.
A few more people had to work so they couldn't come this time, hopefully next time.

6 hours of fun and games on 2 machines.

MIYAVI will be leavin end of this month so we'll try to get another MGN (MIYAVI Game Night), #3, in before he leaves.

Heard Hilde is banned (was surprised) but in Japan nothin is banned (Custom charas, Algol, Apprentice and the Star Wars charas or stages are OK as well).
MIYAVI said that in France all SW charas and the SW stages are banned.

We usually run comps on 360s (surprisin but many of the JP playas bought 360s for SCIV) where the rest of the world is maybe usin PS3.

Back from TGN.

There were many SSFIV playas and many different games were possible- on 360, PS3, SFC, PS2 and PS1.

Isabella Neo did 16 hrs of SCIV- offline and online (360 and PS3).
I took him on for 5 games. He got a few perfects and CS'd me once. I won a round and was close a few others.
He's gettin better at SCIV every time I see him.

There were comps in old school SFC games- Sailer Moon and one FG I don't even know the name of (had like volleyball girl and dancer girl, etc). We also did an all Olcadan on the slippery stage in SCIII on the PS2.

Had a nice JP style BBQ on Fri night- even had steaks (and Sousuhi is a good cook).

Sounds like they are plannin on the next TGN around the end of Oct.

I'm hopin to talk to oosaka about havin monthlies.
